In Detail
The Harmony Difference, Explained
Professional Expertise You Can Rely On
Our care team includes registered nurses, trained caregivers, and programme facilitators with backgrounds in geriatric health, social work, and art therapy. Staff undergo regular training and skills refreshers, and we maintain a caregiver-to-resident ratio that allows for meaningful interaction — not just task completion.
With more than a decade of experience operating in Singapore's eldercare landscape, we understand the regulatory requirements, community resources, and cultural nuances that shape quality senior care in this region.
Thoughtful Processes, Not Institutional Routines
We have refined our intake, assessment, and care planning processes over many years. When a new resident or short-stay guest arrives, we take time to learn about their background, daily habits, dietary preferences, and what brings them comfort. This information shapes a personalised care plan that evolves as needs change.
We use digital health monitoring tools to track medication schedules and wellness indicators, while keeping paper records available for families who prefer them. Technology supports our care — it does not replace the human touch.
Responsive, Honest Communication
We know that entrusting a loved one's care to others can be stressful. That is why we prioritise clear, timely communication with families. Our Family Liaison Officer is available by phone during operating hours to answer questions, share updates, or simply listen to your concerns.
We are also honest when things are not perfect. If a resident is going through a difficult period or if we need to adjust a care plan, we will tell you — because trust is built on transparency, not on presenting only the good days.
Transparent, Comprehensive Pricing
Our fees are straightforward and inclusive. Community Residential Care at SGD 2,300 per month covers daily assistance, meals, health monitoring, activities, and access to all communal spaces. There are no hidden surcharges for basic amenities or standard care needs.
We also assist families with navigating subsidy options available through the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) and other government programmes, which can significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs for eligible residents.
Meaningful Outcomes Over Time
We measure success not in flashy metrics, but in the quality of daily life. Residents who come to Harmony often show improved mood, better appetite, and increased social engagement within their first few months. Families regularly tell us they notice a positive change — more smiles, more stories shared, more willingness to participate.
Our Creative Ageing Day Programme participants frequently discover new interests and abilities they did not know they had, reminding us all that growth and curiosity do not have an age ceiling.

What Makes Us Different
Distinctive Features at Harmony
Life Story Approach
We document each resident's life history — their childhood memories, career, favourite songs, and cherished traditions — and use this to shape daily interactions and activity planning.
Garden Courtyard Access
Our small garden courtyard gives residents a place to enjoy fresh air, tend to plants, or simply sit in a quiet green space — a rarity in urban Singapore care settings.
Cultural Meal Options
Our kitchen prepares meals that reflect Singapore's diverse food culture — Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Western options — so residents can enjoy food that feels familiar and comforting.
Family Care Workshops
We periodically host informal workshops for family caregivers on topics such as managing caregiver fatigue, understanding dementia, and navigating eldercare subsidies.
Flexible Respite Booking
Our Caregiver Relief Programme can accommodate bookings with as little as one week's notice, helping families respond to unexpected situations without lengthy waitlists.
Consistent Caregivers
We minimise staff rotation so that residents see the same familiar faces each day. Consistency in caregiving builds trust and helps staff notice subtle changes in wellbeing early.
